The scope of work shall generally involve excavation and lifting of excavated earth stored at NTPC land by mechanical means including clearing vegetation, dewatering/temporary drains (if required to drain out accumulated rainwater), area clearance etc. required for excavation and lifting of earth. It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to construct and maintain proper approaches required for his use. All vehicles and equipment shall be kept in good working order with valid insurance, fitness as per norms. To minimize pollution during lifting & transportation excavated earth agency must ensure water sprinkle on roads within radius of 3 km from point of lifting. Also, the excavated earth shall be transported in vehicles having good working condition and covered with tarpaulin to ensure non- spillage of earth on transportation route. Any statutory requirement regarding taxes, Road Permits/Way Bills etc., are to be arranged by successful Bidder themselves. |
